We offer a short free gin tour in Essex on Saturdays, if you’d like to visit us and experience how we make our Essex gin.
We’ll show you around, introduce you to our botanicals, processes and of course Monty the still. Of course there will be some free gin tasting too.
If you have any special requirements do just let us know. We are dog friendly and have access for wheelchairs.

To be honest I didn’t hold out much hope for the visit and was wondering how they were going to make it interesting. HOW WRONG WAS I! This was a fantastic visit with information about the whole process in abundance. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable, to cap it all my wife came away with a bottle of gin that she had crafted and distilled herself. Nicole and Simon explained the process clearly and introduced us to Monty. I didn’t realise that making gin is such an exact science. We tasted several different gins and gin liqueurs and realised the importance of using the right mixer. The gins were all delicious, I could’ve bought several but we came away with a bottle of Tide’s Fortune and Hedgerows Gin Liqueur. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and tasting. They give an extremely interesting chat and are keen to answer all questions about the equipment and the contents of the aromatics that are distilled into the product. The gin also is very tasty. Interestingly they do classes on making your own gin in a small still on occasion but this has to be booked previously. The first time I tired Gin. On the tour we learned about the ingredients & tasted some of the Gins distilled on the premises. It was a very enjoyable & interesting tour.
